Since joining Glanbia in 1984, Jim has held numerous Senior Management positions across the business. In 2003, he joined the Ingredients business as Operations Manager before moving to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII) in 2005. With the formation of Glanbia Ireland in 2017, he took over as CEO to move the business on to the next level. Jim is also a Director of Ornua (the Irish Dairy Board) and a former Chairman of the Irish Dairy Industry Association.
Andreas has over 20 years’ experience working in business development in the international marketplace with multinational companies across branded consumer products and infant nutrition. In 2018, he joined Glanbia Ireland as Chief Growth Officer, having worked with dairy company FrieslandCampina for over 11 years in Singapore and the Philippines, specialising in Infant and Toddler Nutrition. Andreas previously worked as a Marketing Director with PepsiCo and in foodservice with Unilever.
In 2018 Seán was appointed Glanbia Ireland’s Chief Agribusiness Growth Officer. In this role, Seán has responsibility for leading Ireland’s largest Agribusiness in addition to managing the development of Glanbia’s Irish milk pool. He joined Glanbia in 2007 having worked for eight years as a Strategy Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). After graduating from the Agricultural Science Faculty at University College Dublin, Seán worked in the Corporate Planning Department at Ornua (formerly the Irish Dairy Board).
With more than 20 years’ experience in the dairy industry, François is leading Innovation and Sustainability in Glanbia Ireland. Prior to joining in 2018, François held a number of roles within Nestlé, Lactalis and most recently Danone in France and the Netherlands as head of the Milk Valorisation Centre. He received a PhD (1999) in Physico-chemistry of Biological products in France and a Degree in Food Engineering (1994) from Institut des Sciences et Techniques des Aliments (Bordeaux, France).
Michael leads the Quality and Compliance function with responsibility for a number of areas including Quality and Food Safety and Environmental Compliance. After graduating as a Chemical Engineer from UCD, Michael built up a wealth of manufacturing leadership experience over the past 23 years, working for multinationals such as Procter & Gamble, Wyeth, Pfizer and Nestlé. For more than half of this time he has worked in senior positions in quality leadership, most recently as a global quality leader in infant formula.
Pat previously held the role of Head of Farmer Relations. Prior to joining Glanbia in 2015, he spent 17 years at the Irish Farmers Journal, where he was Deputy Editor. A native of east Cork in southern Ireland, he graduated from University College Dublin with a B.Agr.Sc before completing a Masters in Animal Science in New Zealand. He is a past President of the Agricultural Science Association (ASA).
Since joining Glanbia in 1997, Michael has worked in a number of senior human resources roles across the business. He led the company’s Organisational Readiness Programme for dairy growth, integrating the new Belview plant and the Wexford facility into Glanbia Ireland. Michael, a graduate of the University of Limerick, is responsible for recruitment and staff development, ensuring employees achieve their ambitions and those of the organisation.
After graduating from University College Dublin as a Chemical Engineer, Jim went on to complete an MBA. He has gained extensive experience in manufacturing in both chemical and ingredient applications after beginning his career as a Process Engineer with Henkel. In 2007, Jim joined Glanbia as Operations Director of Dairy Ingredients and oversaw the construction of the state-of-the-art Belview specialised milk powder facility.
Joe is responsible for strategy development and execution, corporate acquisitions and partnerships, and leading strategic projects. After joining in 2007, he took on a senior role at the company’s Consumer Foods business before becoming Development Director at Glanbia Ireland in 2018. Joe, who has dual citizenship in America and Ireland, previously worked at JPMorgan in Corporate and Investment Banking in the US. He holds an MBA from London Business School and has been a CFA charterholder.
Frank joined Glanbia in 1980, working in senior Finance roles across Ingredients, Agri, Meats (UK & Ireland), Group and Consumer Foods. On completing an MBA, Frank took up the Chief Operations role for the Consumer Business in 2003. With the formation of Glanbia Ireland in 2017, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Frank has represented Glanbia on the boards of National Milk Agency, National Dairy Council and National Dairy Association.
